We act promptly

We acknowledge complete notices within 5 business days and review them quickly.

Claims must be honest

False or misleading copyright claims can have legal consequences.

1. Our Commitment

TrixyGamer is an independent gaming site run by Roylen Graciaus in Mumbai, India. We write our own guides and aim to use images and other material that we created or have the right to use. We take copyright complaints seriously and respond to them in good faith, in line with the principles of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws.

2. How to Report Copyright Infringement

If you are the copyright owner, or authorized to act for the owner, email your notice to hello@trixygamer.com with the subject line “DMCA Notice”. To be complete, it should include:

  1. Your full name, email address, phone number and postal address.
  2. A description of the copyrighted work you say has been infringed, with a link to the original if one exists.
  3. The exact URL on TrixyGamer where the material appears, and a description of it.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete notices may delay our review. We may ask you for more information.

3. What Happens Next

When we receive a complete notice, we will:

  • Acknowledge it within 5 business days.
  • Review the material and the details you provided.
  • Remove, edit or disable access to the material if the complaint appears valid. We may do this while we review.
  • Tell the person responsible for the material, where there is one, so they can respond.

We may contact you for more information. We may also publish or share a copy of a notice, with personal contact details removed where appropriate.

4. Counter-Notice

If material was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send us a counter-notice at hello@trixygamer.com with the subject line “DMCA Counter-Notice”. It should include:

  1. Your name, address, phone number and email address.
  2. A description of the removed material and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed because of a mistake or misidentification.
  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, a court where we can be found), and that you will accept legal notices from the person who sent the original complaint.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

We will pass a valid counter-notice to the original complainant. Unless they tell us they have started legal action, we may restore the material after a reasonable waiting period, as the law allows.

5. False Claims

Please send a notice only if you genuinely believe your copyrighted work has been used without permission. Under the DMCA, anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notice can be held responsible for resulting damages and costs. If you are unsure whether something is infringement, consider asking a qualified lawyer before you send a notice.

6. Images and Game Assets

We aim to use images that we created or have the right to use. Our guides about games may also show game names, logos or other visual references for identification, commentary and guidance. Those belong to their respective developers, publishers or rights holders, and TrixyGamer does not claim ownership of them.

If you are a developer, publisher, artist or photographer and you believe an image on TrixyGamer is used without permission, email us with the page URL and proof of ownership. We will review it and remove or replace the image where appropriate.

We link to reward and promotion pages that others have published publicly, such as official social media posts. We link to them. We do not host or copy the games or the promotional pages. The linked material belongs to its owners. If a rights holder wants us to remove a link, email us with the page URL and we will review the request.

8. Repeat Infringers

TrixyGamer currently has no user accounts and publishes only content written or approved by its founder. If we ever add contributors or user submissions, we will remove content that infringes copyright and may end access for anyone who repeatedly infringes the rights of others.

9. Protecting TrixyGamer’s Content

Our original articles, guides, text, branding and graphics are protected by copyright and other laws. If you find a large part of our content copied elsewhere without permission, email us the address where you found it. See our Terms and Conditions for what you may and may not do with our content.

This policy gives general information and is not legal advice. Copyright law can be complex and differs between countries. For advice about a specific dispute, speak to a qualified legal professional.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The new version will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
